A couple of weeks ago I spent a couple of full days cutting and sewing together all these blocks. I bought the fabric ages ago but never knew what to do with it. I love the blocks and once I got all the triangles done, it went pretty quickly but after sewing 30 blocks, the quilt is still way to small. I have enough fabric to make some more but I'm just not in the mood at the moment.
I've been a bit distracted from quilting by practising my newly acquired granny squares skills. No photos yet. I am working on actually producing a neat one!
Ooh I really like these blocks. Such a gorgeous design. I'm sure they will wait for you to come back to them. Look forward to see the granny squares! xo
ReplyDeleteI like these blocks. It will be a gorgeous quilt.
ReplyDeleteI often lose interest in a project I'm working on. After putting it away for a while, I usually enjoy going back to it. I love your blocks and I'm sure one day you'll be ready to finish it. Can't wait to see your "granny squares", no idea what it is though.
ReplyDeleteI love the block you've chosen, and your wonderful collection of fabrics with white. This will be a treasure, and fun to get back to someday.
ReplyDeleteI love how when you put these blocks side by side your eye is drawn all over the quilt! Great fabrics and great pattern!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this quilt! The block is very interesting!
ReplyDeleteNot every quilt must be big!
