Your pillow covers turned out lovely; I'm sure the recipients will be very please with them. And cute baby gifts too. When are you off on your travels? Bon Voyage!
I love the Dresden plate pillows! I have made 2 Dresden plate quilts. They are so much fun! I have a few cuts left so was thinking of a little table topper. I guess. I'll have to go play with it again!
This is a little random - I've never met anyone else named Meli who also spells it Meli - I've met one Melly and one Mellie. And you're another quilter! Come visit this Meli's little corner of the internet: www.munchkinquilts.blogspot.com
I'm just an ordinary working Mum who likes to do things. I am not really good at relaxing quietly so I tend to be making things all the time. I love the feel and colour of textiles and have tried my hand at tapestry weaving, knitting, stumpwork, embroidery - wool, ribbon and silk, lace making, mosaics, hardanger, crewel, and quilting. The quilting has only come about in the last few years as it is much kinder to my hands and I can work on it for longer periods than the embroidering.
